At the Glory Ifezue Foundation, one of our core missions is to empower women with practical skills that pave the way toward financial independence. We firmly believe that financial stability reduces vulnerability to abuse and fosters a happier, more confident life.
As part of our commitment to women’s empowerment, we are launching a Basic Training in Tailoring to help 20 women kick-start their journey in fashion design. This program will provide essential tailoring skills to participants through a structured, hands-on approach.
Program Structure
- The training will begin in April and will be conducted in four streams.
- Each stream will accommodate 5 women and run for a duration of two months.
- Participants will gain foundational knowledge in tailoring, setting them on the path to a career in fashion.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to women who meet the following criteria:
✅ Aged 15 – 45 years
✅ Currently unemployed and not enrolled in school
✅ Passionate about fashion and eager to learn tailoring skills
✅ Residing in Enugu State, Nigeria, and committed to attending the training
✅ Available for the full duration of the training
Important Notes
- Selected candidates will be responsible for covering their own transportation and feeding costs.
- This is a first-come, first-served opportunity.
- Qualified applicants will be notified well in advance before training begins.
- Application starts on the 1st of April and end on the 11th of April.
