The Neoteric Governance Boot Camp 2021 Abuja.

The Neoteric Governance Boot Camp Project made its debut/virgin appearance on the 6th August 2021 and lasted for 3 days from the 6th – 8th August 2021. The Boot Camp which brought together executive emerging young civil society organizations to equip them with rudiments of knowledge on governance was tagged “Civil Society Organizations (“CSOs”) and Citizen Education and Engagement on Governance Issues at the Grassroots”.

The topics taught at the Boot Camp covered fundamental rudiments of governance such as: The structures of government in Nigeria; the rights and duties of Nigerians; the civic responsibilities of Nigerians, including the right to vote; right and protection for vulnerable people groups such as women, children, and persons with disabilities; and the importance of government accountability to citizens. On the final day of the Boot Camp, the CSOs in attendance were given a value added service in the form of training on branding and packaging their CSOs as well as positioning their CSOs for success in the long-run.

The Boot Camp is part of our ongoing effort to bring a neoteric approach to engaging the grassroots on active community development.
